A slightly newer version of the original Skaro Daleks first appeared in ‘Asylum of the Daleks’. The only difference with this one was the subtle blue colouring of the shoulder section.
This Dalek version also appeared in ‘The Magician’s Apprentice’ where it was seen travelling outside of the Dalek city.
These Daleks appeared in the TV stories Asylum of the Daleks and The Magician’s Apprentice.
